Your Guide

Born and raised in Maryland, I had little choice when it came to waterfowling! My Grandfather would take my brother and I duck hunting on the tidal inlets of the Chesapeake Bay before we were old enough to carry shotguns. It is the strong foundation instilled on those hunts that fuels my intensity toward waterfowling today.

Moving to Colorado in 1991, I have been lucky enough to hunt amongst the most breathtaking mountain landscapes our country offers. To justify the number of days I was spending afield I started guiding for private hunt clubs in the area. With the knowledge gained from guiding, the next logical step was to start outfitting on my own and Mountain Migrators was born. My  approach to Waterfowling is "Full-Circle" and I emphasize that it's not about what you accomplish during the season, but how you live everyday, making sure to invest in habitat security and getting youth interested and involved for the future of Waterfowling. It is this commitment that I bring to the blind and to the management of Mountain Migrators.

I also enjoy chasing bugling Elk in September and shooting in local archery leagues. During the off-season, you can find me in the barnyard, garden, poultry runs, or trying to get ahead of the never ending projects on our small family farm. My wife Kim and daughter Hazel are never far behind and enjoy country living to its fullest.
